FAQ

How much should I trim?
Take off a little at a time and stop well before the quick (the part with blood vessels). If you're not sure where to stop, ask your avian vet to show you.

Is the file electric?
No. It's a manual file with a built-in LED light to help you see.

What if my bird won't sit still?
Many owners gently wrap their bird in a small towel and trim one or two nails at a time, with breaks in between.
